Privacy.ch disclaimer: Read This Before You Proceed

The Myth of Safety: There is no such thing as a “safe” strategy that guarantees you won’t get caught if you break the law. But there are legal ways to opt out of the system. Read on.

Not Legal, Financial, or Tax Advice

The content on privacy.ch, including the archives of Peter Taradash (“Grandpa PT”), Harry Browne, Simon Black, and other contributors, is provided for educational and informational purposes only. It represents a collection of philosophies, historical anecdotes, and strategic concepts regarding the Perpetual Traveler (PT) lifestyle, Flag Theory, and digital sovereignty.

We are writers, researchers, and libertarians—not attorneys, certified public accountants, or financial advisors. The strategies discussed (offshore banking, second passports, asset protection, tax minimization) involve complex legal frameworks that vary wildly by jurisdiction.

You are solely responsible for your own actions. Before implementing any strategy mentioned here, you must consult with a qualified legal professional and tax advisor in your specific jurisdiction. Laws change. What was legal yesterday may be illegal tomorrow. What works in Belize may land you in jail in Brussels.

Tax Avoidance vs. Tax Evasion

We draw a bright line between tax avoidance (legal minimization of tax liability through loopholes, residency changes, and structural planning) and tax evasion (illegal non-payment of taxes).

  • Avoidance is the art of the Perpetual Traveler: living where you are taxed least, or not at all, by complying with local laws.
  • Evasion is a crime. We do not encourage, support, or provide instructions for illegal acts. If a strategy described here requires you to lie, forge documents, or hide income illegally, it is not a PT strategy—it is a prison strategy.

Risk of Implementation

Implementing the “Six Pillars of Self-Reliance” or the “BBBB Plan” carries inherent risks. Governments are aggressive. Bureaucracies are unpredictable. You may face audits, frozen assets, or legal challenges. The authors and publishers of this site accept zero liability for any losses, damages, or legal consequences resulting from your use of this information.

As Harry Browne wrote in How I Found Freedom In An Unfree World: “You don’t have to depend upon circumstances; you can create the circumstances that please you.” But you must also bear the consequences of those creations.

No Guarantee of Results

Past performance of the PT lifestyle is not indicative of future results. The world is in an “Age of Turmoil.” Strategies that worked in 1990 may require adaptation today. We guarantee nothing but the integrity of the ideas presented.
